With no sign of rain the river was very low at the beginning of the week nothing changes much! On Monday morning Bill Dungaval was on Almont and took 2 fish from the rock pool biggest at 8lb both caught on an Ayrshire Shrimp. No more action till Friday when Brian James had a fish of 8lb from the Craig and a 4lb fish from the Battery. After heavy rain on Friday night the river came up to 6 foot but was running clear, in the afternoon Dan Mitchell had a 15lb fish from the Craig. Brain James lost a massive fish in the Craig to that night. Hopefully with alot of rain due for this week we could have a good last week of the season.
